Once upon a time, in a land far far away (New York City) there lived a colony of bats in the Empire State building. This colony of bats was known to be the best fliers in the whole city. One teenage bat, Pauly, was very eager to begin flying so he could explore the city and start realizing his dreams. You see, most of the bats of this colony were unemployed, or rather, saw no need to work because there was a surplus of money. I mean, hello, they lived in the Empire State! Those that do work are businessmen and handle sales of food (i.e. bugs). Pauly, however, dreamed of being a DJ! He knew he had the hottest tracks out right now if he could only get to the city and play his demo. That's why he was so excited to start flying.
On the night Pauly was going to start flying, he was a nervous wreck. He was excited to finally start flying but he scared that he was going to fall. Pauly's dad, Robert, was confident his son was going to be a great flier.
"Ok Pauly. Are you ready?" asked Robert.
"For sure dad. Let's do this!" Pauly shouted.
"Okay then. Start by climbing up on this ledge and spread your wings," Robert instructed his son. "Now start flapping them and on the count of three, I want you to jump. Read? 1..2..3!"
Pauly jumped off the ledge and continued to frantically flap his wings but he was quickly falling.
"Dad!Dad!" Pauly screamed for help.
Robert swooped down and snatched Pauly before he splattered on the ground. When he dropped him back on top, Pauly made the decision to try once more, but again he couldn't gain flight. Pauly and Robert were both deeply embarrassed, especially when the other bats called Pauly "The Bat who couldn't Fly".
Pauly was extremely sad, not only because he couldn't fly, but because he couldn't further his DJ career. Finally, one day he had had enough. He was in NYC! There were means of transportation everywhere! So he grabbed his demo, threw himself onto a passerby's hat, then jumped onto a passing bus that took him to a hot New York nightclub. He climbed into the DJ booth and secretly put in his track. The minute his music started playing, the dance floor went wild. He started scratching the tracks and getting into the music. Everyone started shouting, "Go Pauly! Go Pauly!"
Pauly was ecstatic. From that night on, he became known as Pauly B, the bat who couldn't fly and superstar DJ.

My Lunch Date with Shnookie
If I could have lunch with any famous person, I'd have lunch with Snooki from Jersey Shore. Yes I know she's basically famous for all the wrong reasons on a reality t.v. show, but she still counts. I find her to be hilarious on the show so I bet I'd be laughing nonstop if we hang out together. We'd obviously go to an Italian restaurant and whatever she orders will probably have pickles. We would talk about everything that goes on in the house.I'd want to know who's single, who's dating, who slept with who, etc. I'd be especially interested in knowing if Vinny is single, even though they both slept together. Then I'd ask her about tanning and if she was going to fight Obama's tanning tax. I want to know if she thinks I'd look good tan because, as most people know, I'm pretty pale. Snookie being Snookie would probably have some random comment to make which keep me entertained and that's basically what I want; to have a good time laughing and enjoying a reality t.v. star's company.
My Siblings...Not!!
Thankfully I don't have any brothers or sisters! Or maybe that's not a good thing. On the plus side, I have my own bedroom, I don't have to worry about fighting for anything, and I'm the center of attention most of the time. Yes, that may mean I'm a little spoiled brat but whatever. I love getting things my way and with no siblings, I have no competition. However, things can get a little hard for an only child like me. I live in a four bedroom house with my mother and that can make things pretty lonely. I'm in my room most of the time because i see no reason to come out; there's no one to talk to. There are also times when I need someone to talk to, especially right now with the college process, and there's unfortunately no one there. That's why I would want to have an older sibling so they could share their wisdom with me so that I may learn from their mistakes. I would want an older brother who would protect me or defend me. Or I'd like an older sister with whom I could share my problems with, ask for advice, and borrow clothes from. I'm not complaining, though, because the benefits of being an only child are way too awesome to give up but sometimes I wouldn't mind having an older sibling.

Haikus
Now, I cannot tell
What my drummer speaks to me
Still the ocean lives
Burning sunshine rays
Pierce my skin red hot
I cry for cold rain
All life ends quickly
Only the soul remains here
To fly in its joy
One simple green leaf
Fighting for its survival
Hangs on a branch
Four seasons a year
Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall
Show how life changes
Golden morning sun
Waking the sleeping world
My sleep it ruins
Blossoming flowers
Blooming on my window pane
Showing their beauty
Bitter winter wind
Chills my bones to the hard core
How cold my life is
Sparkling like diamonds
Winter's raindrops are many
They light up the ground
Raindrops soak the earth
but my soul longs for meaning
beyond finite life
What my drummer speaks to me
Still the ocean lives
Burning sunshine rays
Pierce my skin red hot
I cry for cold rain
All life ends quickly
Only the soul remains here
To fly in its joy
One simple green leaf
Fighting for its survival
Hangs on a branch
Four seasons a year
Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall
Show how life changes
Golden morning sun
Waking the sleeping world
My sleep it ruins
Blossoming flowers
Blooming on my window pane
Showing their beauty
Bitter winter wind
Chills my bones to the hard core
How cold my life is
Sparkling like diamonds
Winter's raindrops are many
They light up the ground
Raindrops soak the earth
but my soul longs for meaning
beyond finite life

My Very Own Pet Penguin!!
I've always wanted a to have my very own pet penguin ever since I saw the movie "Happy Feet". They are just so cute and adorable! I would usually pick an animal that's fluffy with four legs, but penguins have captured my heart. I find it amazing that they're birds that can fly underwater!Yes, I understand that they are technically swimming, but it's still amazing that birds can swim. They're also very fashionable. Peacocks, for example, can be too flashy depending on the season because they have so many colors on them. It can be overwhelming at times. Penguins, however, are black and white, a classic combination. Their bright orange beak is the only pop of color they need. I think they are simply adorable when they're just born too. The baby penguins are little fluff balls that you just want to hold in your hands and hug all day long!I'd name my penguin Nino, because of course he's be a boy and Nino is an easy name to croon to. I'd buy a large outdoor freezer for him and fill it up with water. Once the water turns to ice, i will carve a huge area for him to lay around in so he can be comfortable. I'd feed him fish and throw a few cubes of ice once in awhile to entertain himself. As for exercise, I'd take him out of his home and fill a pool with ice cold water and ice cubes and let Nino swim in there as long as he wants. The summertime might be when I'd have to constantly watch him so he won't get dehydrated or whatever, but if California gets too hot, then I'd take a trip to Alaska and rent a house there for a month or two so that he may be in his element and see his family. Awww...I really want a penguin now. Where can I get one?
Chateu le Feebs
Thanks to a generous gift by an anonymous donor, I was Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Chateau le Feebs! As you walk in, I hope you notice the clear crystal doors and the luxurious dark pink carpet. The walls, as you shall see, are black to intensify the silver and dark pink accents. The lights on the wall are held inside rectangular crystals and there are over 10 crystal and rhinestone chandeliers. This isn't a family restaurant either. Feebs is an exclusive, on-the-list-only nightclub. The first level is a complete dance floor. The tile sparkles even before the girls and their jewelry hit the floor. Neon lights are blaring to the beat of the music the whole night. It's a rave every night. On the second floor, people can relax in a lounge type atmosphere.there are various couches, tables, and booths, where people can rest their feet. My employees are fortunate to wear the best uniform ever. The waitresses would wear dark pink or black strapless dresses with black heels. The men would wear black vests over dark pink shirts. There wouldn't be entrees swerved here. No, the only food available are heur d'ourves of different varieties. It's also a celebrity hot spot and if you're really lucky, you could see a cast member from Jersey Shore one night. Don't you want to come fist pump at Chateu le Feebs?

Pirates of the Caribbean
"All aboard mateys!" WTF? Did I just hear that correctly? Last time I checked, I was sleeping comfortably in my room and now I'm hearing pirates? There's only one explanation for this; what did I do last night? Oh well, whatever. I force my eyes open and sure enough I am sleeping on a cot inside a cabin. I jump out of bed and try to keep my balance because the floor is rocking under me to the rhythm of the sea. I climb up to the main deck and to my surprise, I come face to face with Johnny Depp!
"OMG Johnny Depp!” I practically scream at him.
"Johnny Depp? Sorry, mate, but I'm Jack Sparrow. Captain Jack Sparrow and if you don't have any more questions of misguided identity, I have a ship to run, m'lady." He's even sexier walking away than talking to me.
Ok, so I somehow woke up in the Black Pearl from Pirates of Caribbean and Johnny Depp (I mean Captain Jack Sparrow) is the captain. I'm not complaining too much, except I'm hungry. I go back down to find the kitchen and all I see to eat is a barrel of half rotten apples, some bread, and lots of rum. I decide to stay away from that, since I might need it to make a fire signal. After I eat breakfast, I go up to the deck and hear a gruff voice shouting my name.
"What?!", I yell back annoyed.
"You think you're some princess, matey? Everyone here takes on a load," a stubby, fat old man shouted at me. "That means you too. Go up on the crow's nest and be on the lookout!"
"On the lookout for what?"
"For anything! Just go!" he yelled at me before sauntering away.
Fine! I am practically seething as I climb the ropes and fall into the crow's nest but the telescope-thing I find there makes things a little bit better. I feel as if I'm standing there forever listening to the interesting conversations occurring under me on deck. It's extremely cold and I can't see anything because the fog is too dense! I almost fall asleep when a figure zips past me and drops right into the nest. Oh my lanta (yes, it’s a Southern thing), it's Leonardo Dicaprio!
"Leo! I mean, Will! Will Turner!," I quickly remember and catch my mistake. If this was Pirates of the Caribbean, then I need to act like it.
"Miss Elizabeth," he said in that delicious accent. "What's a lady of your status doing all the way up here?"
Huh? Elizabeth? Oh, I think I'm Elizabeth Swan. Well, ok. "Well, Mr. Turner," I say in my best English accent, "A lady of my status belongs all the way on the top looking down at people. Wouldn't you agree, Mr. Turner?"
"I couldn't agree more, Miss Swan. In fact I don't think a lowly sword maker like me should even be in the presence of a governor's daughter," Will said slyly, his eyes sparkling.
"Well, I'll let you slide just this one time because I need the company." I step back and look at him more closely. "Mr. Turner, I'm bitterly cold."
Will raised an eyebrow and smirked, "Now we can't have a lady like you getting sick no can we?" My heart skipped a beat as Will leaned closer to my face and just when our lips are close enough to touch, "FEHBE!! GET UP! YOU'RE LATE FOR SCHOOL!"
A dream. It was all a dream. I knew it was too good to be true.
